2013 The 5th Golden Break 9-Ball Invitational championship
2013/08/16 10:25 4197On behalf of Asian Pocket Billiard Union (APBU), I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to Golden Break Pool Club for continuing to host the 5th Golden Break 9 Ball Asia Invitational Championship 2013 in Malaysia.
The Championship is in its 5th edition now and we had seen many development and changes during the past few years in quality of participants and standard of play in this event. To APBU, this is a great achievement as it has successfully promoted and escalated the standard and quality of the event.
This year’s playing field has been increased by the organizer to a total of 96 players as additional invitations had been extended to our West Asia member’s countries.
As per the previous year, APBU will assist to enlist this event’s result into APBU’s ranking system with participants and winners receiving ranking points. With this ranking points being awarded, the tournament will attracted more players from different countries to participate which will also assist in the promotion of cue sports throughout Asia.
